Invest in the places that bring us together:

• Repair and upgrade our neighborhood parks and public spaces so families have safe, clean places to gather

• Improve sidewalks, lighting, and bus stops so it's safer and easier to get around without a car

• Support community centers in Chinatown, Iwilei, and Kalihi-Palama with more funding for programs and events

 

Why is this on my platform?

Our district is one of the most diverse and vibrant communities in all of Hawaii — but our public spaces don't always reflect that. Too many of our parks are run down, our sidewalks are cracked, and our bus stops offer no shade. I want to invest in the places where we actually live our lives together, so that every family — whether you've been here for generations or just arrived — feels at home in District 28.
